Ok - this was definitely a financial splurge for us! Months before my daughter’s 2nd birthday, I searched and searched online for a wooden dollhouse for her. I’m SUPER picky - and wanted one that was sturdy and looked nice in our home. I went back and forth on whether I would get this one - I also liked the Melissa and Doug option as well as the Hape brand - but this easily won me over! It was just the steep price that held me back. Now that we have it, I’m SO glad I took the plunge! I love that the house opens up (and closes, to keep the small pieces contained, as well as the clutter if she’s mid-play). I love all the little details, too. She’s only 2 so the tiniest accessories that come with the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room sets I’ve kept out until she’s older.You do need to buy each room separately, and they range from $35-$55 which was hard to swallow!It comes in a flat box in MANY pieces, but its pretty intuitive to put together. You just need 2 different sized screwdrivers and you’ll be good to go! It took me about 2 hours from start to finish.One drawback was that even though you can tell these are beautifully crafted, hand-painted and glued, etc. there are still chips and imperfections here and there on the house itself and on the items for each room set. I ended up having to exchange one of them when the scuffs and scratches were just too much to be ok with.All in all, if you’re searching for a solid, durable doll house with tons of fun, adorable details, this is it! My daughter is only 2 and I know that she will grow to love this more and more as she gets older.

This is a great wooden dollhouse for boys and girls. Love that it's gender neutral and not all crazy pink and wild colors. The size is terrific, not too huge, with enough space for 6 rooms of furniture. The dollhouse instructions were fine - I just suggest taking your time to make sure windows go in right side up and the correct floor pieces are chosen before screwing anything together. The holes are all pre-drilled and pieces lined up fine. The only place where there are not pre-drilled holes are where the brackets attach to the front doors to allow them to open and close. I was able to screw the tiny screws thru the brackets and into the doors without a problem. The front door opens and all windows and shutters open and close. It's adorable and my grandkids will love it! I'd give it 5 stars, but a decorative tree came broken which isn't a huge deal - it doesn't affect the overall house. So 4 1/2 stars for sure!
It’s good toy for my daughter. I was needed about 2 hours to assemble it .
I had some issues assembling, it took about 3 hours. There are some imperfections and a slot on the 3rd floor was not in alignment so we had to improvise and saw a small piece, very frustrating! There are also some paint imperfections. A bit disappointed for an expensive item. I would really appreciate a replacement piece on the front of the house so I don’t have to disassemble and return the entire item.
I was looking for a dollhouse that I wouldn't mind having on constant display, with plenty of rooms for different types of imaginative play, and doors that could hide the mess. For me, this gorgeous dollhouse is perfection. It is so thoughtfully designed and well-constructed.My 2.5-year-old daughter was absolutely delighted with the dollhouse the moment she saw it, and my husband was very impressed with all of its features. I think the roof is genius. You can either take both pieces off completely, or you can store the front panel on top the back panel. My daughter loves all of the working windows and shutters.My only complaint is that the manufacturer could have provided better screws. The twelve "S4" screws, which attach the sides to each floor, are difficult to turn and may strip. When I used my own 1-1/4" #6 Philips flat-head zinc wood screws, they went in easily. This was the only substitution I had to make, as all of the other screws provided worked just fine.
A tad pricey but simple to put together and very well made. It is the cutest house and great for little kids to play with too.I love that it isn’t pink or too girly so that my son will play with it too. I hope it will provide hours of fun for all of my kids!
really beautiful but some flaws in manufacturing process. All pieces replaced easily from manufacturer so we’ve been happy with the experience. I love how the roof comes off and attaches to the back as I was worried the other we considered that had hinges may pinch little fingers. We’re using ours with haba little friends, djeco and peppa figures.
