Rosewood Cottage

I love this doll house. I was so excited to find this size because we don't have the space for a big standard doll house. My daughter loves it!Space saver while still being a doll house for her imagination.The picture has it all set up on a book shelf.

I was hesitant to purchase this dollhouse based upon some of the reviews, but, after assembling it, and watching my granddaughter be captivated, I found it to be a good purchase. Yes, you must be patient in assembly. A high quality screwdriver certanly helped. I found all the holes to line-up, the paint quality is fine, and total assembly time was roughly 30 minutes. As others have (helpfully) pointed out, the back wall is hinged on the left side of the house. Simply swing the hinge out, and the back wall is easily removed. Yes, it is relatively expensive for a small, wooden dollhouse made in Indonesia, but I consider it a reasonable value. My granddaugher loves the little mushroom family.

I almost didn’t buy this because of the reviews, so my expectations were low. However, I’m happy with it! Assembly took between 30-40 minutes for a single person with a screwdriver. The screws are blunt, so you do need to apply a decent amount of pressure to get them in. We also added some wood glue for extra durability (the wood pieces themselves seem high-quality, but I can see my daughter banging it around a bit). Also, I’ve seen a few reviews about the roof blocking the removable patio piece but one of the back slots hinges open and the piece slides out to the side not up (see video). They don’t show this in the directions, so if you don’t play around with it a bit I could see why people are confused. Overall, I think it’s a really cute, travel-friendly toy and something I can see my daughter wanting to carry it everywhere.

Need to build set with the included 12 screws. Daughter has asked to play with this everyday since receiving as Christmas gift. Nice quality, a bit expensive though.

Assembly of this lovely dollhouse was, surprisingly, a two-person job in any case since clamping and fastening screws in an irregular shaped "house" requires not just dexterity but strength. It became much more difficult when we discovered that the ridge beam/handle did not have pre-drilled holes at each end where it fastens to the house and the screws were not self-tapping. It was also dismaying that there were not any extra screws. We drilled holes ourselves since our granddaughter's birthday is near and we already had experienced a "damaged in shipping" return initiated by Amazon.

This dollhouse is very well made. I work in a setting where many children use it. Since I bought this it has been the #1 favorite pick in my office.

Cutest small dollhouse! Just have a lot of assembly.

This wood toy house was a perfect gift for my two-year old grand daughter. The small pieces fit perfectly into her little hands. She can place all the pieces inside and carry around.My husband helped me build it. The toy house came with instructions and a screw set.

We just discovered Tender Leaf. My heart bursts with the world they’re offering to our little ones. The Rosewood Cottage is beautiful! As a grandmother, I’m so happy to give my granddaughters a glimpse into a world they’re always cherish.

Cute but super hard for me to build and it’s pretty small.
