I bought this to sit on a shelf as decor and love seeing it across the room. It’s study and colorful and adds just the right touch. I removed the character it came with and am thinking of adding an air plant in its place.
We love Tender Leaf Toys. We have a couple sets in this collection. Only giving 4 stars because the wings pop out all the time, but they also pop in easily. Not sure if this is a design flaw or not….But my toddler takes the wings off and then I have to find them. Not my favorite game. I’ll probably end up gluing them in place.
Perfect toys! Always! This little bird in a plane is going to look even better in 30 years, with tiny teeth marks on it, when it is passed down to the next generation. I love Tender Leaf toys. Great value, sized for little hands, fully assembled. We all love that these toys are not fluorescent colors or electronic. The little rabbit sitting on top of Swift Bird can jump right out at his destination and easily pop back in for another ride.

I think the toy is so sweet. I really like how imaginative it is to have a bird/airplane for kids to have fun with. What a wonderful idea to have the bird as a make believe airplane for the little toy figurines. My only concern is that the wings are very pointy at the tips and in my opinion should be rounded or filed down for safety reasons. The wings do come off but that would defeat the purpose of the bird flying as a make believe airplane for the figurines.
A wonderful imaginative toy, good quality. The wings were not attached which was not a great feature because they fall out during play.
